Delivery Information

ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Our bonsai trees are sold only in Canada. Ceramic pots are sold world wide.

Unless stated otherwise on the product listing or at checkout, all orders ship on Monday or Thursday. Shipping may be delayed due to unfavorable weather or holidays that cause transport delays.

 

TRACKING

For all orders, tracking information will be sent to you at the time of shipment.

 

You know your local weather, delivery times, and neighbourhood better than anyone else.  As soon as you receive your tracking number, please feel free to contact the carrier and ask them to hold your package at a local office for pickup if you feel the necessity.

 

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

Please double-check your address details before placing your order.  We ship to the address that you provide in your order.

 

DELIVERY TIME FRAMES

All plants orders ship on Mondays, and will arrive by Friday of the same week.  In general, they arrive much sooner than that.

 

SHIPPING FEES

Shipping fees are quoted at checkout, and vary based on product type, size, weight and  your region.

Return & Exchange Process

​We know you have had bad experiences shipping plants before, but Canada Bonsai is here to change your mind about that!

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
In the very unlikely event that you received a damaged or incorrect item, Great North Bonsai will send you a replacement that is either identical or of equal value if the bonsai is one-of-a-kind (we’ll give you options to choose from!

In the case of plants, it is assumed that buyers are familiar with bonsai development strategies.  A plant is considered ‘damaged’ if its potential to be developed as a bonsai has been significantly compromised.  For example, broken twig or torn leaf on pre-bonsai material does not qualify as a ‘damaged product’

HOW TO REPORT AN ISSUE
Please take a photo of the damaged or incorrect item and its packaging upon receipt.

RETURN SHIPPING
Great North Bonsai will not ask you to return items.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe return of your item.

 

REFUNDS

All deposits and purchases are non-refundable.
